Reflector 2 allows you to live stream your screen directly to youtube. Simply mirror your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or other device to your Mac or PC and begin a broadcast!
1. First, you’ll need to install Reflector 2 on your computer.
You can download and use a free trial of our wireless screen mirroring software for seven days. If you’ve already purchased Reflector 2, you can download the latest version of the software from our website. Follow the on-screen instructions for installation. Once installed, launch the app.
2. Once launched, begin mirroring.
3. Click the Reflector 2 icon near your clock, then select "broadcast."
4. You will be prompted with a YouTube Live Streaming window.
If you have not yet connected YouTube Live and Reflector 2, you will be asked to do so here.
If you have already connected YouTube Live and Reflector 2, enter a title, description and audience.
5. Click Create Event.
This will begin setting up a YouTube Live stream. This process may take a few moments — up to two minutes.
6. Click Go Live.
Your live stream to YouTube is active! Once live, you’ll be provided with a link to the live stream and a link to your YouTube Live Control Room for the live stream.
7. When you’re finished, click End Live Stream.
This will end the live portion of your stream. YouTube Live Streams are automatically saved as a regular video to your YouTube channel for viewing at a later date.
Reflector 3 includes all the same mirroring capabilities as Reflector Teacher but without the classroom focus.
